Help with Getting a Job

Posted on February 12, 2010. Filed under: Training | Tags: , , , , , , , , |

Today’s economy is still facing challenges as employers are struggling to retain employees or use fewer employees and continue to meet their clients’ needs. Job candidates are experiencing difficulties finding work because there are so few vacancies these days.

It has been posted time and again that health care is a booming industry that will never run out of available positions, especially now that the Baby Boomers are retiring. Their aging parents, and some Boomers as well, are finding themselves desperately in need of long-term care either in facilities or in their homes. As a result, many displaced workers are embarking upon new careers in the health care fields, and the open jobs are definitely filling up.

How, then, can a person spend time in a class learning new skills and then expect to get a job, especially when 19 other people are in the same class vying for the same jobs? DRM International Learning Center has a solution to this dilemma. Their Certified Job Candidate training program offers their graduates the added benefit of becoming the top candidates for the jobs for which they apply.

How? They teach their students how to stand out to prospective employers by becoming the answer to their hiring needs. Each graduate leaves the program with the tools necessary to create eye catching resumes that work, stand out in interviews, and create a lasting impression for hiring managers.

DRM International Learning Center uses the Hire Me Now training materials provided by Turnaround Coaching to prepare their graduates to capture the high demand positions that are available in their area. Life Coach Erika Jackson developed the material and is the trainer for this program.

“I’ve done a lot of work with job candidates who came into our office looking for work. I’ve seen all types, some I hired, and some I wouldn’t hire. This training course was absolutely necessary,” states Mrs. Jackson when discussing her impetus for developing the Hire Me Now program.

DRM International Learning Center offers the Certified Job Candidate training program to all students who complete their Certified Nurse Aide training program. There is no additional fee to experience this dynamic and career boosting class. For more information on the CJC training program, contact DRM International Learning Center at (517) 882-3544 or email info@drmilc.com. You can also find them online at www.drmilc.com.
